Straight answers about our VPS plans, infrastructure, and policies.
Bandwidth & Network
Yes. Each VPS is assigned a dedicated 500 Mbit/s port. "Dedicated" means the physical port allocation belongs to your server — other VMs on the same host cannot use it. This is different from providers who advertise 500 Mbit/s but route all tenants through a shared 1–10 Gbit/s uplink where you're competing for capacity.
Current plans do not include a hard monthly traffic cap. The dedicated 500 Mbit/s port is yours to use. Fair-use policies apply for extraordinarily unusual traffic patterns — contact us before signing up if you expect multi-terabyte monthly egress.
Our Tallinn data center connects via Cogent, RETN, BALT-IX, and RTIX. This mix of transit and peering provides solid routing across Europe and low latency to Baltic, Northern, and Eastern European destinations.
Yes. Every server includes one IPv4 address and IPv6 at no additional charge.
Plans & Billing
Plans are billed monthly. Your first invoice is generated at signup, and subsequent invoices are issued on the same day each month. Prices on the plans page are listed excluding VAT — applicable EU VAT is added at checkout based on your billing country.
Upgrades are available at any time and are billed pro-rata. Your data and configuration are preserved.
No. Plans are month-to-month. You can cancel anytime from the control panel or by contacting support, and service will continue until the end of the current billing period. No early-termination fee.
We accept credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), cryptocurrency, and bank transfers. Payments are processed via FreeKassa. Invoices are issued each billing cycle.
No setup fee on any plan. You pay the monthly price listed on the plans page, plus applicable VAT. Nothing else.
Operating Systems & Software
We offer ready-made images for Ubuntu (20.04, 22.04, 24.04), Debian (11, 12), CentOS Stream, AlmaLinux, and Rocky Linux. If you need a specific distribution not on the list, contact support.
Windows Server 2019 and 2022 are available on all plans. The OS comes with a trial licence. A permanent licence can be purchased separately as a one-time payment. The monthly plan price is the same regardless of OS.
Yes. KVM virtualization means you have full control of the kernel and system services. Docker, Podman, k3s, and other container or orchestration tools install and run normally — no restrictions from the hypervisor layer.
Yes. Full KVM isolation means you can install custom kernels, load kernel modules (including WireGuard, eBPF programs, etc.), and modify networking stacks. Things that aren't possible in shared-kernel environments like OpenVZ.
Backups & Data
Snapshots are not enabled by default. You activate auto-snapshots in the control panel — once enabled, a snapshot is created daily. Every plan includes 1 free snapshot slot. Additional slots are available at €1 each, up to 5 total.
Restores are done by rebuilding the server from a snapshot. In the control panel, select the snapshot by name, trigger a rebuild, and the server is restored to that state. No support ticket needed.
No. Snapshot storage is separate and does not count against your plan's SSD allocation. The 40–320 GB is entirely for your active server disk.
Compliance & Jurisdiction
Our infrastructure is located in Estonia and operates under EU law, which includes GDPR. Data does not leave the EU. If you're processing personal data on your VPS, the EU residency of the infrastructure helps you meet the data residency requirements of GDPR, though compliance ultimately depends on how your application handles personal data.
All data — including VPS disks, backups, and account information — is stored in Tallinn, Estonia. No data is replicated to servers outside the EU.
The Terms of Service are governed by Estonian law. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Estonian courts. Full details are in the Terms of Service document.
Technical & Support
We guarantee 99.9% network uptime. Full SLA terms, including response times and compensation policy, are available in the SLA document.
Support is available via the ticket system in the control panel and by email at support@estflux.com. We aim to respond to all tickets within 24 hours. Urgent infrastructure issues are treated as priority.
Current plans are unmanaged — you have full root access and are responsible for the OS and software running on the server. We handle the hardware, network, and hypervisor layer. If you need managed services, contact us to discuss options.
